The Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited was founded on February 11th, 1944. It was incorporated in 1946 and began operating as a company in 1947. Originally "The Antigua Chamber of Commerce," Barbuda was later added to reflect the twin island status. It is one of the oldest organizations in the country.
