Who we are

CaribFinder is operated by [Company name — to be confirmed], [Registered address — to be confirmed] (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to anyone using the site.

What the directory is

CaribFinder lists businesses across the Caribbean. Many listings were compiled from publicly available business directory information and have not been checked by the business. Listings marked Verified have confirmed control of the listing with us. We don’t guarantee that any listing is accurate, current or complete — please confirm important details (hours, prices, licences) directly with the business.

Sponsored listings and ranking

Businesses can pay for Sponsored placement. Sponsored listings are always labelled “Sponsored” and appear first. All other results are ordered by profile completeness (photos, hours, contact details, exact location, description) or by distance when you search near you. Payment doesn’t affect position in any other way.

Business owners

• You may claim a listing only if you’re authorised to act for that business. We may ask for proof and may refuse or revoke a claim.
• You’re responsible for the content you add and must have the rights to any photos or text you upload.
• Edits that add links or look unusual are reviewed before they go live.
• Paid plans are described on the pricing page; features marked “Coming soon” aren’t part of what you’re paying for yet.

Acceptable use

• No scraping or bulk copying of the directory, no automated access that burdens the service, no attempts to bypass rate limits.
• No false, misleading, defamatory or unlawful content; no impersonating a business or person.

Removal and corrections

Anyone can ask us to remove or correct a listing — see our Content & removal policy.

Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from reliance on listing information or dealings with listed businesses. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
