Office of the Ombudsman

The Office of the Ombudsman was created in July 2004 to encourage government departments and agencies to better serve the public. It is an independent office that answers only to the Legislative Assembly through the Speaker. The office investigates complaints against the government regarding injustice from administrative conduct or unreasonable laws. It also has an internal process for complaints against its own office.
