Hope Valley Experimental School was founded by Professor Sir John Golding, Sammy Henriques, and D.R.B. Grant. It began operating on January 10, 1972, at 2-4 University Road, Kingston 7, as Jamaica's first inclusive school for students aged three to 12. The school includes a Special Education Unit and an Infant Department. Its curriculum is prescribed by the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth & Information, promoting holistic development through academic and co-curricular activities.
