Houseboat Grill was built in the late 1970s in White House, St James, by Winston Reynolds. It originally operated as a bar and nightclub, and was used as a lounge for artists at "The Jamaica World Music Festival" in 1982. The restaurant opened on October 5th, 2001, and features a fusion menu created by Chef Rich Nurse.
